Puppies are sold by reservation and held only with a deposit. If you have a reservation on a puppy and you change your mind, the deposit is non-refundable as potential puppy buyers may have been turned away. The reason for the deposit is it lets me know you are truly interested and committed to a puppy, it also helps me to know how many puppies are spoken for and if any are available. If for whatever reason I do not have a puppy available I will refund your deposit or you will have the option of waiting until the next litter. Puppies are chosen in the order in which the reservation with deposit is received, with show puppies being chosen first.

Why I NEVER have white puppies ~

You ask a very legitimate question, why are whites so bad? Let me try to answer that on a very simple level. There is a written definition of what each breed shall be. That definition dates back to the origin of the breed and is on paper for anyone interested to read.
This definition is what makes a Great Dane a Great Dane, a Poodle a Poodle, a Dalmatian a Dalmatian, etc. etc. etc.. It is not up to each of us to decide that we would like to change each of these breeds because we "like it" or "find it appealing". Adhering to these definitions is what retains the individuality of the breed.
Breeding to the definition is the challenge for the breeder. A brown Dalmatian might be cute - but he is no longer a dal; a tiny Great Dane would be more easily kept - but he is no longer a Great Dane, and a hard coated Poodle would be easier to groom, but he wouldn't be a poodle. And in that same light, a white schnauzer is no longer a schnauzer; he is disqualified because he does not meet the definition of that breed.

The little white schnauzer is not "bad". He is simply not a good specimen of the breed. I would suggest that the person who likes a small white terrier seriously consider the purchase of a Westie. (By the way, the Westie wouldn't be a Westie if he were any color other than white.)

Here is my questionnair for the pre-approval process:

If you are still interested, I have a few questions.

If you are still interested, I have a few questions.

•           We do not ship puppies, so how would you be able to pick your puppy up?

•           Can you tell me how much time you would be able to spend with the puppy?

•           How many hours per day will the puppy be left home alone?

•           If left home alone more than 4 hours, how will the puppy be handled and/or cared for?

•           Do you have or had any other pets?

•           Did you keep your pet its entire lifetime, why or why not?

•           Age can be a factor along with being relocated. If you were not able to care for the puppy/dog who would care for the dog, or would you be willing to contact me for re-homing?

•           Who in the family would have the primary responsibility for the puppy? If a child, what would happen if they did not want the responsibility?

•           Do you have a fenced yard?

•           Do you have a Pool and if so is it fenced?

•           If you rent is it okay with your landlord to have a puppy?

•           Are you willing to complete the AKC registration on your puppy within two weeks of receiving your puppy?

•           Are you willing to feed your puppy premium food (nothing purchased in a grocery/mart store)?

•           Are you willing to give your puppy/dog water that has been filter or bottled? (nothing directly from city water/well)?

•           Do you smoke inside your home or car with your pet around?

•           Are you willing to have your puppy/dog groomed on every 6 to 8 week?

•           Is a limited registration (no breeding rights) and spay/neuter ok with you, why or why not?

•           What will family life for the puppy be like in his/her new home?

•           Are you willing to follow the Dr. Jean Dodd's Vaccination periodical-attached (not to over vaccinate)?

•           Are you willing to not use NextGard or any internal flea and tick dog medicines? (as it can cause seizures and has kill dogs, regardless of what your vet says.)

•           Are you willing to make sure that your vet does not give "The Leptoirosis vaccine"? (It's the least effective and the one most likely to cause adverse effects most especially in small breed dogs, regardless of what your vet says.)

•           Ongoing socialization for puppies is most important for the first 18 weeks. During your puppy’s first three months of life, he will experience a socialization period that will permanently shape his future personality and how he will react to his environment as an adult dog. Gently exposing him to a wide variety of people, places, and situations makes a huge, permanent difference in his temperament.

•           What would your first choice and 2nd choice for a puppy be (sex, color, etc.)?

•           Where are you located?

•           Contact phone number?

Ear cropping is a choice. We have only 4 or so liters of puppies a year, I also co-own 2 females that don't live with me and they would also be included in my info. All our parents have been checked for health (eyes & hearts) prior to having puppies.  Our Miniature Schnauzers are part of our family and are well cared for in our home.  All of our Miniature Schnauzers are supreme quality in conformation, health and beauty.  Please feel free to call or email me with any questions.

I look forward to hearing from you!

 Sincerely,

Ronnie
